Study Abroad

United States

To study in USA is to witness the perfect combination of history, architecture, language, culture and nature. From road trips to van life – nothing is too ‘new’ to try when living in USA. Students live one of the most balanced lives, and you also get to experience all seasons – Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall as an international student in USA.

Over the years, our work with helping students get into universities in USA and obtain work permits has only added to our experience.

Most of us already have an idea about studying in the US; thanks to Hollywood – their culture, food, lifestyle, leaders and products – have inspired far many of us to change.

Study Visa for USA

The F1 Visa allows those who study in USA to stay back for a limited time period after completing their studies to gain work experience by working in US. F1 Student Visa holders can complete up to a year of temporary employment directly related to their major field of study in USA.

F1 visa holders can also apply for the Optional Practical Training (OPT) after graduating from universities in USA to work in the US. The Optional Practical Training (OPT) is a year-long work and stay-back permit given to international students on completion of their degree in the US. There are two types of OPT – one which can be used during one’s studies i.e. Pre-Completion OPT, and another which starts after one completes studying in the US, i.e., Post-Completion OPT. The job you get after finishing your course must be directly related to your field of study and you have to find the job within 90 days of graduation to be able to work in the US.

For those in STEM Courses, (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) a new rule allows for a 24-month extension. This means you can stay in the US for 3 years after finishing your degree if you have a degree related to technology in US.
