Mostly, yes!

There are a few Universities worldwide that do not accept 3 year degrees - but you may be allowed to join after taking a ‘bridge/foundation course’ which will give you enough credits to be counted towards your Bachelors. There are also some programs that have a mandatory 4 year degree requirement. Get in touch with our expert advisors to find out your best options.

You are more than your grades!

Foreign Universities look at YOU as a whole - of course, your grades are a part of the application, just like your essay, English test score, personality and extra-curricular. It is great to address this in case it’s affecting you - but there are many Universities out there who look at more than your marks. Our expert advisors will help you identify programs that have a higher chance of accepting you, based on your complete profile.

The top tier Universities sometimes allow for up to 3 backlogs. However if you have more than 6 backlogs, you may need to resort to College programs initially and then aim for University in the next step. It also depends on the country you are targeting. We have seen some Universities even accept 12 backlogs however it is rare.

As far as there is a reasonable explanation and long term plan, you could most certainly change your field of study and aim to learn an entirely different subject in your further education abroad.

This largely depends on the country you are studying in, and their visa allowances. Countries like Canada, UK, Ireland, etc. allow students to work 20 hours per week. If you can manage studies with a part time job, and are legally allowed to work, the world is your oyster!

This is very specific to the country you study in, your University, and your lifestyle choices among other things. Ask our advisors for reasonable expectations and we will be happy to help!

As someone with not many extracurricular activities, you can start by identifying your weak areas and target them. Choose something that you can dive into - take on a volunteering opportunity; embark on an internship. Help a relative out with Social Media Marketing, or do anything where you can make an impact - it’s about what the experience taught you, not what it really was. Think beyond yourself, try something new - be surprised!

Absolutely, in fact we recommend it!

Applying early in the intake plays an important role in your success. Most Universities will accept applications based on your previous academics and issue a conditional acceptance

If your University offers campus accommodation - it is usually recommended for first year students to opt for it as it provides for an immersive experience, helps you settle down quickly and make friends in your own campus. Many Universities offer further on-campus housing, and many don’t.

The answer to this depends on a variety of factors. Most Universities follow a credit system, and usually allow transfers. However, there are many Universities which do not allow mid-year transfers, or transfers into new subjects.

Remember - it is okay to start over with a few months’ backlog than be in a place you do not feel comfortable in - and that’s what we are here for. Reach out for a free counseling session so we can guide you with advice customized to your needs.

The amount of money you must show for your Visa has no upper limit. However, you should show a bit more than what is required to pay your out-of-country expenses. While this varies from country to country, USD 7,000 per year in living expenses can be a good estimate for most.
